03.03.05 Inga "Foxy Brown" Marchand is pissed off and considering legal actions in regards to reports that she
was booted out of Manhattan, New York's Chung King Studios over a monetary feud last week. According to Daily News' Lowdown section, Foxy recently quarreled
with studio owner John King over allegations of an unpaid bill and is now preparing for a lawsuit in New York State Supreme
Court. Sources say Brown's legal team is contemplating to sue for defamation of character and music piracy of the Ill Na Na's
last two CDs Fox's
team contends that the rapper's unreleased The Fever leaked from Chung King Studios onto the internet back in 2003. Though
she never went public with her accusations, Marchand blamed King for the bootlegging. According to Lowdown, Fox did little
to maintain their professional relationship.Just last
week, Fox's team was informed that tracks from the femcee's forthcoming disc, Black Roses had been leaked. Lowdown says Fox
attempted to "negotiate a resolution" without success. Meanwhile, King denied that his studio bootlegged Fox's upcoming project
and asserted that he wanted to resolve the conflict. Earlier this
year, Brown became the first artist to sign with Island Def Jam under Jay-Z's regime. Black Roses is scheduled to drop later
this year and will mark Fox's first release since 2001's Broken Silence

Surrenders On Assault Charge Foxy Brown surrendered to New York City police last night on a
misdemeanor assault charge stemming from an August 27, 2004 confrontation with two manicurists, MTV.com reports. Late last summer, newspaper gossip columns reported that Foxy allegedly beat the two
women with her cell phone after they had locked her in their salon demanding payment for a pedicure Brown never received.
Foxy, pictured at left with her lawyer Joseph Tacopia, appeared at the 13th Precinct station house to answer the charge, was
issued an appearance ticket, and released without bail. Tacopia told the New York Post that the two salon employees are simply trying to "use the criminal-justice system to extract
money from Foxy." In other news, Foxy's collaboration with 112—the remix to the R&B group's single "You Already
Know"—has hit radio and is currently climbing the Billboard charts.

In a a shot while foxy brown has gone from an aspriring female artist to one of the best female rappers in the hip hop game. At 15, her debut Ill Na Na was released in 1996.
The powerful single "I'll Be" (with Jay-Z) got some airplay and helped her sell 2.5 million records. Not bad for a teenager. Her
follow up album, Chyna Doll, was raw and bolder. The album did well and positioned her as an up and coming star in
the hip hop community. She has also done studio work with none other than the lyrical, production, and entertaining genius
Dr. Dre.With great albums like ILL NANA , CHYNA DOLL AND BROKEN SILENCE, it only proves this trini-beauty, with an ill rapping
style aint going nowhere this is only the tip of the ice berg.
